What is the event about?
We'd like to take a closer look on how digitalization has changed and is going to change higher education and particularly the Fulbright program. We were lucky to win experts from the field of higher education, all fellow Fulbrighters, to participate in this event. In short speeches they will look at the benefits of real life experience versus digital learning and discuss how education formats have to adopt or have already adopted. And yes, this is a rather wide field - so in the second part of that day we invite all guests to participate in one of two workshops that deal with a) the future of Fulbright or b) (in a more general view) how digitalization is changing the expectations of students, employers and institutions towards education.
Why are we doing this?
We'd like to revive the Fulbright spirit in the Rhein-Ruhr region and would like to try out a new event format. Digitalization & education are topics that concern everyone, thus we hope for many attendees!
