The German Fulbright Alumni Association welcomes returnees! The Welcome Meeting is open to any Fulbrighter interested in continueing his or her Fulbright experience beyond his or her year abroad. Our team has put together a high profile program which we hope is both intellectually stimulating as well as inspiring to all of you. For the first time, the Fulbright Alumni Association sponsors the annual “Juergen Mulert Memorial Award & Lecture on Mutual Understanding”. The Award will be given to the author of the best paper that presents his/her own research, professional or volunteer projects that effectively foster William Fulbright's core idea of "waging peace through mutual understanding". Fulbright returnees of the last three years may apply. Deadline: September 24, 2010. For more information read here

Looks like work? Yes, it does. The Alumni Association's team came together to discuss new developments and upcoming projects. However, shaping the Association's future was also fun: ”I really enjoyed coming together with other Fulbrighters. I was happy to see the dedication of all participants and the comprehensive approach taken in the planning of new steps and projects.
